Cullen was the location for Newmarket’s Junior A footballers on Thursday night last, where they took on the local side in the Ducon Cup.

Greater finishing in front of goal meant the visitors led 2-07 to 0-07 at the break. Further impressive shooting in the second half saw Newmarket secure a 4-14 to 0-13 win, with the goals coming from TJ Brosnan, David Cottrell and the evergreen DJ O’Sullivan, who amassed an impressive 2-03 during the contest.
