Footballers defeat Bandon in high scoring contest
The Newmarket senior footballers made the long journey to Bandon on Friday night, in the Bon Secours county league.
The visitors led 1-09 to 0-08 at the break, with Tadhg Ryan’s impressive 1-01, proving the difference. A further 2-07 for Newmarket in the second half, which included two well taken Conor O’Keeffe goals, gave the side a hard earned 3-16 to 0-14, on the night.
