Newmarket U-12 hurlers won the Duhallow U12C Hurling Knockout Championship title in Kanturk on Saturday, defeating Croke Rovers on a scoreline of 3-15 to 3-04.

Three goals from Newmarket in the first half, two from Daniel Culloty and one from Jamie O’Connor, gave Newmarket a 3-04 to 1-03 lead at half time. Croke Rovers battled back in the second half, but Newmarkets superior points scoring told the difference in the end.
