The new playing season gets underway on Sunday February 17th. The action starts in the Ducon Cup, with Newmarket playing away to Dromtariffe at 3pm.

Last year the juniors had a great run all the way to the semi-final, losing narrowly to Rockchapel.

On Saturday March 1st (time tbc) the U21 Footballers are up against Knocknagree in Rockchapel. This is a repeat of last years semi final. On that occasion Newmarket emerged victorious in an excellent contest by 0-16 to 1-9 at Cullen on March 24th, on their way to claiming the title.

Lets hope its the start of another successfull season for the hurlers and footballers of Newmarket.
