The Annual General Meeting of Newmarket GAA Club took place recently at the clubhouse meeting room.
Outgoing Chairperson Mary Stack opened the meeting by welcoming all present. Life President Con Collins congratulated the successful under 21 football team on winning the Duhallow championship for a second successive year and Conor Cronin on winning an All Ireland Vocational Schools football medal with Cork. He also congratulated Conor on representing the Cork minor footballers and Bart Daly on being a member of the Cork under 21 football panel. He thanked the juvenile club for their contribution during the year and paid tribute to Chairperson Mary Stack and the outgoing committee for the continued redevelopment of the clubs grounds.
The Annual General Meeting of Newmarket GAA Club took place before a big attendance at the James O’Keeffe Memorial Institute recently.
Outgoing chairperson, Mary Stack welcomed all present before the meeting commenced. Life President, Con Collins opened the meeting by congratulating the clubs winning under 21 football and Nevin Cup teams as well as Denys O’Brien on winning an All Ireland junior football medal with Cork, Gavin Forde and T.J. Brosnan on representing Cork at juvenile level and Donnacha O’Dea on his continued handballing successes.
The Annual General Meeting of Newmarket GAA Club took place last Sunday at the James O’Keeffe Memorial Institute. Club President Con Collins and outgoing officers Andrew Lynch, Conor O’Sullivan, Neilie McCarthy addressed the meeting and gave their various reports. Juvenile Club Chairman Ollie Dugdale and County Board Delegate Nelius Collins then contributed to proceedings. The minor football team and mentors were congratulated on winning the County Minor A football league title and for completing a Duhallow championship and league double again in 2006. (more…)
