Two weeks ago the boys won against Millstreet in the B final after some late goals. This Sunday it took extra time to separate the teams, Newmarket running out victorious on a scoreline of 3-18 to 5-11. Congratulations to all the boys, their mentors and families. The victors lead for most of the match and entered the interval with a 3-01 to 0-03 advantage. Although Dromtariffe managed to hit the Newmarket net in the closing stages of the game, the result never looked in danger. Congratulations to all involved.

Three goals from Newmarket in the first half, two from Daniel Culloty and one from Jamie O’Connor, gave Newmarket a 3-04 to 1-03 lead at half time. Croke Rovers battled back in the second half, but Newmarkets superior points scoring told the difference in the end.
