Newmarket defeated by Dromtariffe in opening minor hurling league game

Newmarket were defeated by Dromtariffe in their opening minor hurling league game at the latters venue on Wednesday evening by 3-18 to 2-4.

The wind lifted significantly in the second half and Newmarket struggled as a consequence. The sole score of the half came courtesy of the very impressive Bryan O’Connell.
